This time of day - SUPPER - when I wonder what will fill my hard-working guys up? Hmm. Baked potatoes - now thats easy.. Pickled beets, corn, sliced tomatoes.. The meat is another thing. Last night Ross ate THREE hamburgers.. His dad - two! They enjoyed them. Maybe if I scrounge in that freezer, move this and that - I can find a steak or two or six!! Feeding big hungry, hard working guys is more mental work than cooking!! Yesterday, Ross got sick working in this muggy, hot and humid weather. Todays a bit better. Wish a food truck would break down on that highway by our place.. (And I dont mean a semi hauling hogs or cattle!) Gotta put my cooking hat on and hope it will fit over my thinking cap!!
