This time of year brings back memories of when I was young. My grandparents on my dads side loved Halloween. They loved seeing kids in their costumes. They always told us they wanted us to make the first stop at their house so they could treat us before they started treating other kids. Grandpa was always the one who got the biggest kick out of how we were dressed. They handed out homemade goodies. This was before all the bad things were happening to the treats. Grandmas favorite to make and give to her grand kids were popcorn balls. My granparents Shirley Mae Pritchard and Roma (Hub) Pritchard were the greatest. They had hearts of gold and go beyond their limits to help anyone. Anytime you came to their home, they were always a table full of food. Enough to feed and army. And grandpa always knew how to get grandma going. I can still hear her saying...NOW HUB you hush. Was alot of great memories with them.
