This time of year in 1968 brave marines were fighting the NVA in the battle of Hue during the Tet offensive. So brave, they fought against overwhelming odds. To my fellow vets of the Viet Nam war, you should be honored and remembered for your courage and bravery. To refresh your memory, Hue was a major city and had great significance to South Viet Nam. The North Vietnamese army tried to take the city during Tet. Several hundred marines fought against thousands of NVA and often it was door to door and hand to hand fighting. While we saved Hue,tet was the turning point in the war. Still the courage those marines showed should be remembered and never forgotten. I will never forget.....
