This time of year is always a bit sad for me. The month of December usually results in some loss or another. Parents divorced when I was 5yrs old. Lost my grandma Knapp, my Dad and step mom Ruth, my ex. partner and friends in CT, friend Tom Walker last year, and so on.. The list always seems to grow this time of year. Yes, Im thankful to still be alive following the horrendous accident in 2002 but while others are decking their halls and obsessing with their party schedule, I spend more time bracing myself for yet another December of bad news. Its hard to believe that in the past 12 months and living in the gay mecca of Dallas Ive gone out to the clubs maybe twice. Why? Dont know.. I guess those I thought to be my clubbing friends really werent friends at all. Yeah its sad at times but I dont seek any sympathy cuz I probably wouldnt get it even if I did. Our entire society has changed into something less caring, loving, compassionate surrounded with loads of tax free fake prophets. Im 1,800 miles away from my family members. Even though its been almost 20 years, I still dont get used to it this time of year even though going home usually results in some crazy unexpected drama. My sister coined it Mamma Drama and this stuck. This year its kinda mellow.. very quiet.. just me and Sven. I spent $300 on Vape equipment because the huz really hates seeing me smoking so that was my xmas gift to myself. He got me a Microsoft Band watch and I got him a Ninja power blender hes had his eye on. Enough of this... I hope the rest of yall have a good one with family and friends. Im gonna fiddle with my crafts, my critters, and my web design talents. God and Goddess Bless You All, --Rik
