This tiny little girl isnt my normal kind of rescue, size wise anyways ! This baby was brought into the vet clinic Monday after a guy picked her up. She was COVERED in some kind of grease/oil, dirt and probably her own feces. Literally she is nothing but bones. COVEREd in ticks. I spent most of Monday off and one washing this girl. Each time she got a lighter color. She was almost black to begin with! He came and picked her up but the next day she came because his wife couldnt find her a place to go. So before other options where discussed as in PTS , I said I would take her. Her first weighing she weighed well under 5 lbs. She wanted to eat everything she could find. A long with being heartworm positive. So, Miss Gidget has made her way home with me. She LOVES people. Wants to be in your lap. Just like a dane that way ;-) The vet figures her around a yr. But it appears she has had a couple litters of pups already. She is to under weight to go through a spay surgery right now but shell be spayed so she doesnt have to worry about that again. She is such a sweet soul and wants to be loved. We had to shave a lot of the hair off because it was so matted and her skin is in real bad shape because of ticks. She has a long road to recovery but she is already making progress. I will keep everyone posted on how she is doing. ♡
