This tragic story raises many questions, and we would love to hear your thoughts. One of the most important questions is raised by the business at the centre of the controversy, quoted in this article: Why is good quality food so expensive, and out of reach for families on low incomes who desperately need it? That is an excellent question; and not one being asked in any of the media commentary on this issue. Nor is this question: Why is the cheap food that is slowly poisoning us en masse so widely available and heavily promoted? If this tragedy allows us to debate these questions in a serious and reasonable manner, than it will at least serve some constructive purpose.
