This tune was inexplicably popular in the mid-90s, defying all logic and reason..because, well, it is, at least so I thought, stupid and unlistenable...but, maybe now I get it, now that Ive discovered the entire thing can be worded in Haiku format. For example, the chorus: I wish I was a Little bit taller I wish I was a baller Or, maybe Ive just been in Asia too long. Likely, as this song came to mind when I read an article about a foreigner and his girlfriend being attacked by a group wielding ballbats (Wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat was the random lyric that popped up when reading said news) In other news, a child coughed directly into my eye, today. I felt the moisture of his lungs join the moisture of my eyeball. Did I die, and wake up here? Am I man who dreamed he was a butterfly, or a butterfly that dreamed he was a man?
