This update is from the appointment last week in DC. I just completed another round and now get a week off. The future rounds will get more aggressive and will begin by attacking the bacteria in my brain and co-infections. I am expected to continually get worse but improve once the treatment switches to just oral. The timing on when I switch to just oral is down the road and unknown of when that will happen, whether in the next months or year sometime. The last few months the treatments have gone after other areas in my body with little progress. Although the days ahead are predicted to become more challenging, it is necessary for the end goal of health. This update is more specific than all of the previous. Hopefully, this allows you to pray more specifically. I have limited energy, and trying to respond and communicate is hard work. I can listen and understand easier than I can talk or text. I LOVE hearing from you, but sometimes may have trouble or take a bit to get back. Thank you for all those who have written, emailed, texted, called, prayed, or asked through the grape vine. Sometimes my mind runs to thoughts of anxiety of my harder days ahead. Please pray for the spiritual and emotional struggles, as well as the physical. Pray that I would claim Gods promises! Thank you to so many who faithfully remind me! Pray for my family. My thoughts of anxiety are mostly for my family and the added amount of work for them. Their days are busier and with less sleep. I am thankful for their many acts of love. God is so good to me, and I know they need your prayer for physical, emotional and spiritual strength! Again, THANK YOU!!!
