This update is long overdue! On November 10 of last year, we came down to see the available dogs. You only had one and it must have been fate! We werent originally looking to rescue and were going to get a puppy from a breeder, but are very glad we changed our mind and would never go back. We adopted Roscoe that day. If you dont recall, Roscoe is a black pitbull mix. He has truly changed our lives. My husband never had a dog so Roc would be his first and it was definitely a leap of faith, but Roscoe quickly turned him into a dog lover. Roscoe is such a lovable big fellow. He is a great all around dog and loves to play with the kids and go for walks, but also just loves to lay around and sleep and snuggle on rainy days! He is truly the perfect dog (other than his fear of baths...hehe). He has learned many commands and will do almost anything for food! We honestly could not imagine our lives without him! We love him so much that we decided he needed a playmate and rescued another dog from a local pitty rescue in March. They are buds and love to play and wrestle around. I have attached a bunch of pictures from our year with Roscoe! Thank you all again for taking him in and allowing him to become part of our family!
