This version of Suavecito has been my morning noon and afternoon song. It really makes my day. I burned Malo V and Malo Coast to Coast onto one CD. Malo originally recorded four albums for Warner Brothers. The core of the band always was Arcelio Garcia, Jorge Santana and Pablo Telles. By the fourth album Arcelio Garcia became ill and left the band, so he was replaced by Lil willie G. The group disbanded. Jorge Santana became a solo artist. Arcelio Garcia, who was the groups founder and owner of the bands name, was living in New York and put a band together. They released Malo V. Some years later he was back in San Francisco and put another Malo line up together, they recorded Coast to Coast. Thats where this version comes from. youtu.be/9DouE5Eamik
