This very handsome boy is 4yr old Taz, who needs a forever home urgently. Taz is in the most stressful, confusing environment at the moment, & needs out of there asap. Taz is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is housetrained, travels well in the car & is ok to be left without chewing or howling. Taz is not good with cats. He has been around owners grandchildren aged 10yrs upwards and been ok with them. Taz sleeps downstairs in the kitchen, and has no toy or food possession issues. Taz walks nicely on a dogmatic head collar & his recall is ok. Taz currently lives in a cottage which is inbetween the main train line Oxford to London, at a level crossing & behind them is a huge industrial waste site, with huge lorries in & out all day. Taz is so stressed with all of this noise, he is scared to go in the garden to toilet incase a train flies past. He attempts to chase them if he is out when they go past. Coupled with the noise, and cars stopping at the level crossing, this is one unhappy worried dog. Tazs owners husband dislikes Taz, so Taz has never been comfortable around him, & consequently there is tension. They are kept seperately believe it or not, & if the wife leaves the house, Taz has to go with her, and wait in the car. Again this is just adding to stress levels, & real unhappiness. Taz will now growl at the husband, and over xmas, after a buy household stepping over him, and stressing him more, he reacted & lunged at a visitor. Taz needs out of such a stressful, noisy environment asap. Taz is fine with visitors, he is very friendly. He has no fear of strangers. Taz hasnt lived with another dog, but is absolutely fine with the visiting male beagle who is calm & laid back. Taz mixes well with calmer dogs, but doesnt like excitable bouncy in your face dogs, & grumbles at them. Taz would benefit from a much calmer, quieter household- possibly with another laid back dog, and he will be so much happier. At the moment his stress levels are off the scale, so he is an accident waiting to happen. Currently in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
