This very handsome fellow is The Grannie Projects Ash - a scruffy old man cat about 10 years old who spent who knows how long on the streets as a *declawed* stray. We just cant imagine how scary life must have been for him with no defenses! We rescued Ash - who was sweet as can be - in the summer, and our good friend mama Sherri took him in a few weeks ago to get him fattened up and find his forever home! But last week we found out it just wasnt meant to be - our darling, fuzzy-cheeked greybie had lymphoma. The first sign of which was very very low blood sugar. The very special vet man saved him and Ash got another whole week of spoiling and lovins before he made his journey to Rainbow Bridge this very morning. Easy journey old fellow and rest well. Thank you for being such a darling love cat - and most especially for being dad cat to those baby kittens. We all loved you so, you were one of the good ones
