This very moment I have taken a huge breath in and a much larger - TopicsExpress

This very moment I have taken a huge breath in and a much larger breath out. I reached out to someone who I, in one way, looked up to. Unfortunately, our paths went in different directions and this person turned quickly against me for no reason. In my efforts this morning to reach out to her and squash everything and to start a new leaf, I was dismissed and insulted multiple times. I sit back and look at my circle, my true circle. I am so proud of the people I know and the people I have in my life. The people closest to me are supportive, kind, and loving. Some are mothers who run on structure such as kindness and trust and love. Some are small business owners who fight to keep the lights on to provide services to our community. Some are preachers, politicians, teachers, city employees, waiters, store associates, nurses, doctors, engineers, coal miners, caretakers, and even boring ole bankers(lol). To everyone in my life, in my circle, or closely around it, I thank you. In one way or another, you have shaped me to be who I am today. Each of you has taught me either how to act towards someone or how not to act towards someone. Some of you have taught me hate and some of you have taught me love. With everything I have been taught, I handle situations with understanding and acceptance. I am utterly grateful for the good and for the bad. For all that once was will never be unnecessary. Because... in the grand scheme of it all, through fire and through rain, it is necessary.
