This video entitled UFO Crashing Releases Orb... is on the verge of becoming viral. Unfortunately for conspiracy theorists, there is a much simpler explanation. (The split occurs at 0:15) It is actually a meteor being heated up as it enters the atmosphere. The gaseous material inside the meteor, upon reaching the appropriate temperature, will combust and break apart into more space debris. As for the trajectory, all meteors skim across the sky at an angle. Once the internal explosion occurs, the fragment launches at a more perpendicular angle than the main body of the meteor. Its not actually going the opposite direction; rather, the cameraman is seeing it from an unusual perspective where he is in between the angle of the meteor and the debris launch.
