If we are educated on what this virus is [entirely], how its transmitted, the symptoms to look for, what can kill it [bleach], and how to protect ourselves and our loved ones; then we as a people can survive it. Washing our hands frequently and teaching our children the importance of proper hygiene should now be top priority. Yes, the current strain of the Ebola virus is NOT airborne. It can only be transmitted via bodily fluid. However, when left on a surface it remains active for 6 hours. Please do not overlook the fact that sweat is a bodily fluid. Our hands carry lots of germs, and they also sweat. Touching a contaminated surface (doorknob, desk, subway car rail, etc) then touching your face is one of many ways you can transmit the virus. As a backup, always use hand sanitizer. Being educated on this topic does NOT label you as a conspiracy theorist. Stay in the know. Watch the news. Pay attention. Use social media to educate friends and family who still dont know much about Ebola. If we band together, this to shall pass. God bless!
