This video is just about 25 minutes long.......make the time to watch, listen, share. Spend 25 minutes in a silent world reading the closed captions. Imagine what it is like to spend every minute of your life without sound. This is a very important video. If you know someone who is deaf, it will help you understand what they feel, how lonely and frustrating it can be when they are excluded from a conversation, miss a joke on TV, are made fun of by hearing family and friends. Excellent job! BTW...while I was watching this video, my husband was going about his day, opening doors, walking into the garage, out into the backyard. My dog was coming in and out of the room, the garbage trucks were a block away, I got a beep on my phone telling me I had a message. My Outlook beeped reminding me to check in for my flight tomorrow. My pen fell off the desk and hit the floor. The coffee pot beeped telling me the hot plate was turning off......all NOICES, I heard and registered without thinking about....background sounds we note without even being aware of. Sounds and alarms that my daughter and all deaf folks cannot hear and respond to....just a thought..
