This video is what the ministry of Education in Finland says about Finnish education. They do not want you to know this: the schools are filled with heavy bureaucracy, teachers are under a lot of pressure to ensure that the curriculum is followed, students sit like quiet dolls, there is little discussion amongst students during class, the teachers still give orders and boss around the students. Students have no other choice but to sit in conventional desks and chairs and be fed information that has little relevance to them. Students who have different learning styles are labelled as have a disorder which must be corrected. They have 30-minute lunch breaks and are forced to eat lunch in 15 minutes so they have enough time to go outside and play. The schools are run more like a military school than a place for children to play. And there is still compulsory military service for boys once they finish school. So much for educational liberation. https://youtube/watch?v=bcC2l8zioIw
