This video on any other day would never have been seen by anyone else, but because of the issues happening down south it has turn the lights on and people are now seeing how black people see the police on a daily basis. When I was young my parents told me to stay away from the police, if you need them call them but stay away. Its with a heavy heart that I have to tell my daughter the same thing. Im not saying all cops are bad but Im not trying to roll the dice to find out if I can keep my right to sit in a skyway or be tazed in front of my kids like this man was. I can tell you in my experience with the police it has not been good, my friends get into a fight and Im the one cuffed in the back of a cop car, friends looking at me like he didnt even do anything. Minneapolis/st.paul is now under the gun how will they Handel this situation? Honestly I think they will do better then their counter parts down south. City pages has been updating this case their first update yesterday was that the man gave permission to use his pictures and the update today was he got a lawyer. Im hoping to continue to monitor this case. Also I really want to be involved in the things that effect this situation, Im already stretching for time but Ill see what I can do.
