This video puts a situation in context. - Within days, this same police department was throwing tear gas at the media, and confiscating their cameras. The state holds a monopoly on violence. The State at its sole discretion can sanction or perpetrate it. But this video appears to me that the escalation rate of this officer brings into question a few things. Is this the death penalty, or what a state sanctioned police murder looks like? If this was a role reversal and the citizen had shot the police would the dialog be the same?
