This video reminds me of a story: At least this little gal is trying to Be secure in her seatbelt. When our 3 boys were about this age group, Donna and I flew from Burley to Logan, UT to visit her sister and her family there. On the return trip when we were about 5 minutes out from Burley, our middle son, Jon, decided he couldnt see from his seatbelted position in his seat, so he decided to undo his seat belt. There we were flying along, me trying to pay attention to my landing checklist and making my inbound radio calls in preparation for landing in Burley ... and that kid was jumping around in the back. I told Donna, I cant land this thing until he gets seatbelted-in ... its too dangerous ... and its the federal law. After a number of attempts, Donna told me she couldnt reach him ... the cabin interior was too small for her to reach back there ... especially since she had our youngest, Isaac, then just a baby in her lap. Boy, I was fit to be tied. Our son Jon was always our little rascal. Oh, and NO ... we couldnt get him belted back in, so I had to land anyways. Boy, was even EXTRA careful putting those 3 wheels on the ground that time ... and though I do not recall, I bet Jonathon got his fanny tanned when got out of that Piper Cherokee after full stop.
