This video starts off showing a shot of Mach 3 that takes the output from G-Simple (G-Code) and instructs the CNC router what to do..move the stepper motors for the X, Y, and Z axis. Im using a body of a prototype box (poplar) that was cut in the traditional way (mortising machine, and hand chiseling) to validate the G-Code and execution process...and that the machine is doing things correctly.. For the test Im showing the Router with an engraving bit (nice and pointy) in the spindle but do not have the spindle running as Im not ready to do that until we validate all the other processing. Youll see the router move and how the pocket is processed.. Any questions or suggestions give a shout.
