This was a comment I made on my friends posting about a personal experience with the late DJ Frankie Knuckles!!!!! I just thought you guys might want to read it!!!! Tears and chills all at once......Missy is right, Ive always looked at you as one of my idols over the years. You are truly an amazing DJ, so many nights Ive stood right in front or off to the side or even sometimes when I felt there was enough room to not interrupt I would actually get to jump in the booth with you, and just watch, listen and study. You have taken me on so many soulful journeys over the years, taught me so many essential lessons, and shown me the true art of performance as a DJ!!! I feel honored to have been alive when DJing was a sort of sixth sense that could only be utilized if you let the music flow through you, magically taking control over your bodys natural senses. You, Mr. Foxx, carried me to that place where the DJ becomes a vessel. Its a surreal experience to watch and a euphoric experience to feel, indescribable really..... Foxx, thank you for passing down this priceless gift that has molded me into the DJ that I have become. I will be forever grateful to you and all of the incredible DJs I have been blessed with in my life,DJ Darrell Robinson DJ Kelly Sinna G Insinna, DJ Michele Miruski DjTatiana Von F DJ Tony Alonso, Dj Xtasys, DJ Alex M, DJ MARTYRE, DJ/Producer Tracy Young Kostas Kouremenos and so many others, but these are the ones that gave me a personal piece of their collective gift. And somewhere down that chain I was also graced with a piece of a legend whom we morn in passing but celebrate eternally through the gift of music he planted in us all.....Thank you DJ Frankie Knuckles, now you truly do LIVE IN THE MUSIC!!!!!!!
