This was a topic for us at breakfast this morning (I know, I know, what the heck is the matter with these people??) so I wanted a little more perspective on it and found this. Kind of disappointed that my visions of evil Big Ag farmbots spraying poison all over the wheat fields havent been born out with the research, truth be told. So far, anyway. Let this serve as a bit of a reminder that just because somebody on the Net or Fox News or WSJ says it, doesnt make it true. Farmer pals, any personal experience with this? Here at ODF, when we eat a carb, we want it to be fabulous, so weve been a fan for years of Companion Bakery in Santa Cruz, where the bread is made from actual old-timey wheat from actual heritage wheat seeds, grown locally at Pie Ranch and ground there on this fabulous work of art grinder they brought from Europe.
