This was a foregone conclusion. For those of you who think it was better for Landrieu to have won, read this comment from a listener on the NPR Sunday Edition comments section: Why vote for Republican Lite when you can vote for real Republican? And if those are their only two choices, many people wont vote at all. Many have have been saying this for the past four years.
