This was a msg pmd to the page...I believe we should go and see what its all about at least..we need to get organised in some way and many many people on here have said they are not paying as well as myself and other committee members.....just incase anyone thinks this is a split from Right2Water..its not...Right2Water are supporting all means and groups in there tactics once peaceful...Lorraine H. Dear Friend On December 20th, a number of campaigners against water charges met. These included activists from local ‘Says No’ groups, ‘We Won’t Pay’ and Right2Water groups from Cobh, Cork city, Arklow, Kilkenny, Limerick, Dublin Bay North, Walkinstown, Tallaght, Kells, Stoneybatter and Celbridge-Leixlip. We agreed to call a meeting on Saturday 10th January at 11am in the Teachers Club (Parnell Square, Dublin) to discuss the launching of a national call for the boycott of water charges and building towards a national federation of groups which call for non-payment. This meeting is open to representatives of all local anti-water charges groups. We would like to invite your group to send representatives and take part in this meeting. The agenda for the meeting could include a discussion on a boycott campaign, a discussion on the organisation of a national federation of non-payment campaigns and the organisation of specific non-payment events.
