This was a really tough day. The service was perfect for or friend Fred Grimm though. He will be missed by all of us more than we can put into words. The one thing I took away from this is obvious but we have to be reminded of it often is that time flies. For so many reasons many of us havent seen each other, sometimes because we get busy and wrapped up in things, sometimes because of some wrong we felt that has been done to us, and still other times because we feel awkward due to the simple passage of too much time. Fred showed me that all of that is a waste. Because time flies. Fred and Stephania Grimm always seemed to get along with everyone most of the time because these bits of drama should never destroy family, and friends are often the best family. Letting these things get in the way for too long may cause us to miss opportunities. Fred left us way too early but I hope he will at least remind us that time flies and we need to stop wasting it.
