This was a short but lovely moment from Deborah Knights program this morning where caller Nicole spoke to Deborah about how her Mum has helped with childcare for her children. Nicole and her husband offered to pay her Mum but she refused to take the money. So I just put the money that we would have spent on childcare, for everyday that she cared for our son into a bank account. After one year she still wouldn’t take the money. After two years I said, ‘I’m just going to buy you what you really want with that money’ which was a holiday overseas.
