My baby Finley got out this morning, our side gate was open from the pool man on accident and it took me a few minutes to realize he was gone and it was open. When I got to the front he ran from me. He started down the street peeing on trees and darting in front of cars. I ran in and got his leash and treats and he still wouldnt come to me. By this point Im screaming for him and in tears. I had called my folks who live a few miles away and my dad saw us about three blocks away from the house, he pulled in front of him and he thank god ran and greeted him and my dad grabbed him. How can I get him to come to me, its life and death at this point. Please any advice would be great. And of all days the 4th of July. I cant imagine what would happen if we didnt catch him.
