I needed it right now more than anyone knew bc my heart is broken in pieces and Im shattered, going through an incredibly difficult situation, for me. Ive been wasting too much time listening to the voices that I know are not true, I know I need to drown out. You know...the voices of youre not good enough, you have no friends, no one cares, no one loves you, youre wrong, you always mess things up, youre fake, heres another thing thats your fault, etc. Right now, I silence every single one of those voices, I put tape over their mouths, I turn my ears and my eyes to my God and I give Him the pieces of my broken heart. I release it and it will not have power over me or my mind as I KNOW Im doing the right thing and Ive done all I could do to make it right. I let it go. I let Him hold me through the tough times. I know Im loved. No one can change that. You may not like me, but I am loved and because He loves me, I love me. Not perfect, no, but worthy of love. I grab ahold of some self compassion and I seek what I need from my Lord. He never lets me down!
