This was last night at sunset. The high tide made for make able lefts. I hope it gets better tonight. I will post a current video next. The swell is pumping. Trestle Contest went off with killer surf for all the contestants. The show from the beach was awesome my buddy said. Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the heat wave. 92 in Oceanside, just a slight breeze. Its a lot hotter inland. The 3 day forecast calls for today to be the biggest day as the swell is supposed to drop a few feet a day. Lets hope that forecast is wrong or delayed a few more days. Another forecast says little change. Everywhere that catches a south swell was going off with double overhead sets. I heard the pier here was not as good as Wisconsin St. The crowd taking pictures was thick , with lenses up n down the beach. More news later. Right now its 3 ft overhead and fast lines with just a few shoulders. Not that great.
