This was last summer before her diagnosis. Life with cancer is an unexpected negative circumstance. Victoria is trapped by cancer. Victoria learned to adapt to her circumstances with acceptance and inner strength. Cancer could have trapped her into a world of unhappiness. She could have said, I cant do this, I dont have enough courage, I am too weak, tired, sick or I am upset because I am too young to die. Instead of getting caught up in negativity she practices being courageous and believes in herself. Her life has expanded with love, friendship, community support, medical support, happiness and the will to survive. She says,I can do this, I am powerful, I am supported by many that are on my side and want nothing better than to see me healed. She invites happiness into her life. She will survive. She will soar like a butterfly.
