This was my brother and he absolutely loved this song and this band...wish he was here, I sure do need him right now and my Dad too. My loss is Heavens gain...dont understand why bad things happen to people with a heart of gold-but God said do not ask-just accept and one day it will all be answered. Mom remembered today was his birthday and I stayed a long time with her at the nursing home trying to keep her mind occupied and it is a hard thing to do when inside your own heart is breaking into pieces. I know you all get tired of me posting about my brother but he was my best friend too & he was the guy that worked a full-time job in a furniture factory-he always was a hard worker- but his passion was being a mechanic & he would get off work & he would work on his friends/familys cars & if you couldnt afford the part then he would search until he found one at a salvage/junked cars & save you money...he lived payday to payday-if you had kids & a family struggling then if he needed to-he would stay up most of the night getting it repaired so that you would get your family taken care of & go straight into his full-time factory job on no rest/sleep most of the time & never complain b/c he was glad to help others. He would give you the shirt off his back even if it had of been the last shirt he had to his name. He was a good hearted person. He was loyal, very kind and he was also so humble & he never tried to live above his means of raising, that is how our parents raised us. I miss my brother just as much now as I did in 1988...they say with time, it gets easier. That may be true for some people but theres not a single day that goes by that I dont think about & miss my sweet brother & my Dad too. Things would be very different.
