This was my hair before I got it cut (see Profile Picture.) I myself had severe breakage because of an allergic reaction to Marley Hair. I soaked the hair in vinegar to remove the alkaline strip because I have a highly sensitive scalp. By Day 3 of my Protective Style, I had to take it down. The first picture I had it blow dried, the first time in 4 years and I was very apprehensive about using heat. My scalp was very sore and I was scratching my scalp and I knew something was wrong because I had NEVER had any scalp issues. After treating my scalp I could see the damage and decided that day to have it tapered.
