This was not an easy challenge. It was not easy at all. #Day7 of Gratitude Gratification plus pleasure... Delayed Gratification is exactly why I delayed posting my last show of Gratitude. I always want to save the best for last. I nominate Sikhona Nazo and Ntsika Langa to share with us, for 7 days, stuff they are grateful for. Each day, you are also required to nominate 2 persons, and by the end of your 7-day challenge you each, will have nominated 14 persons. Growing up, in Port Elizabeth, if my Dad had his own way his children were not to take any sweet stuff. He preferred and without fail would include lots and lots of dried fruits in our grocery shopping. It was only when we visited my maternal Gran’s house KwaZakhele that we’d indulge in the types of sweets I listed on my Wall yesterday. Yesterday, after our evening meal, uMama took out a slab of Cadbury’s Mint Crisp and we both indulged, right infront of my Dad. *the joys of being a grown up* I am GRATEFUL for the special connection I have with my Mother. Her greatest gift to me, to our family, and to the world is LOVE and a Non-Judgemental soul. At this middle age I feel I am more connected to her than I ever was. Looking at my Mother I can’t help but admire married women. I look at them in awe and admiration applauding them for having stood the test of the times. ;) *not every soldier has managed or will manage to fight, all the way...all the way until the end of the battle* ;) I am GRATEFUL that I have my Mother, alive...alive in Christ. I am GRATEFUL that God gave me strength to never let go of my Mother’s hand. Now I am able to stand on top of the mountain and shout – Well Done MamNkabane. In you I have experienced what it means to sit right at Jesus’ feet. And I say, if you’re struggling, my friend, do not give up. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Mna noMama, we know...We have been there! And we will not judge you. “Who is it that loves me and will love me forever with an affection which no chance, no misery, no crime of mine can do away?
