This was once, a common snack for breakfast and supper ... and is a trademark of Sibu town. I am sure 80% of our buddies have sampled it, from this infamous back-alley shop (off Jalan Blacksmith), by the name of Chop Hing Huong. The shop is operated by 2 elderly Kiu brothers for the last 50 yrs +. This is somewhat, a yummy soupy dish ... made with strips of cooked rice paste and served with squid (after soaking the dried one) and meatballs, too. If you patronised this small outlet, it is always crowded and unless you can stand the noise from foochow language, you will surely love the food, as you watch how they prepare it, on the spot.
