This was posted over a year ago, but similar stuff still happens to cyclists. Cyclists are treated as second-class citizens. We get harassed. We get passed way too close for safetys sake. We get run off the road when vehicles dont want to pass us with enough room. And when all this happens to us, nothing happens to the drivers who do this. They MIGHT lose a few demerit points, and MAYBE get a small fine. Thats if theres an iota of justice. Usually there isnt. What would have happened to this honking pile of putresecence if hed been harassing a fellow driver in the same manner? Following too closely and blaring their horn? What would have happened if BOTH parties were 2-tonne vehicle operators?
