This was sent to me just now from a friend who recommended my book: I forgot to tell you today about the cook book that you recommended to me - Honestly Healthy. As you know since my husband was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma I have been feeding him an Alkaline diet based on that book and the follow up book - Honestly Healthy for Life. When he went to see his GP at a London Hospital for a check up, now he is in remission, the Doctor was so amazed by his recovery from chemotherapy, his overall fitness and how healthy he was in all his tests, that he wanted to know what diet he has been following! His GP is now going to recommend those cook books for his other clients suffering or recovering form Cancer. He told the Doctor that he never lost his appetite all the time he was on chemotherapy because of all the colourful, tasty new recipes he was having. Now he is better he is still going to continue with the alkaline diet as he feels great on it. Nobody knows what causes Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, but he doesnt want to go back to eating and drinking acidic foods and drinks in case his cancer was caused by diet. He has done some research and knows cancer thrives on acid and cant survive in an alkaline body. This makes it all worth while hearing these amazing success stories :)
