This was shared with me by a teacher in our district. This morning at church I opened my Bible and it opened to Jesuss teaching: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. I began thinking of TTM and how she needs our prayers. I have been fervently praying for the teachers and students and community, but have failed to pray for the BOE and Supt. From watching TTM run from the news the other night, Ive surmised that she is suffering as well. Now, I realize that she has made choices that have put her in this position. However, learning about her grooming and selection by Kaisich, I began wondering if she might be regretting her decision to sell her soul and agreeing to do what shes doing. Maybe, just maybe she feels painted into a corner. She could cave during this week during negotiations, but she would pay dearly with her future livelihood. Any promises shes been given would go out the window. Or she could maintain her hardheadedness, keep up the union busting, and be hated in Reynoldsburg forever. She has put herself between a rock and a hard place. I will personally be praying for TTM to find a way out of this mess shes created for herself and our schools. Please know that I am not making excuses for TTM. I dont feel sorry for her- shes made her bed. But as a Christian, I have compassion. And a little more prayer cant hurt, right?
