This was such an absolutely amazing trip! My wife, the dogs and me (always in that order) spent five days at a remote cabin near Ryegate, Vermont last week. Almost every day of the trip we all (my wife, the dogs and me) piled into the family truckster and spent 3-4 hours crisscrossing the northern part of the state going west towards Burlington one day, north into Canada another day and east into New Hampshire on another day. We avoided major highways at all costs and stayed to the county roads following road signs to towns and villages that sounded interesting. We went wherever the light would let me take pictures, direction was totally random on most days which made for lots of new experiences and views. Photo stops were often and rather sudden, pet stops were a little more planned out but both made for great memories! Random direction is not a bad way to travel sometimes! I highly recommend putting on a nice slow soothing song in the background and hitting the slideshow button.
