This was the southern gospel song of the year for 1989 and in my humble opinion one of the greatest gospel songs of all time. If I remember correctly this song held the number one spot on the Singing News charts for almost the entire year. Through the years this has been recorded by many others who are much better singers than The McKameys, but there was something special about this live recording.
