This was written by Kay Warren, wife of Rick Warren (Saddleback Church). This is a perspective that needs to be seen, especially by the obtuse individuals who dont understand that something like this permanently marks the terrain of a life. As I read this, I am reminded of my friend Mary Belle Jones, who lost so many in one day 21 years ago: a husband, a son, two daughters, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren. As we stood by the gravestones 3 years ago, we talked about grace and restoration and recovery....but we never talked about forgetting and just getting over it. It will never happen. Mary has become stronger through this, but she will never be the same.
