This was written by my father last night and he asked me to post it so I have. I am a 92 year old 2nd world war service pensioner and Im wondering whether we should have just let the Japanes take over Australia and have the lot, after seeing the job this mob of Liberal creeps are doing! They are anti-worker, the unemployed, who are in their thousands are nothing but dirt to these things. The truth is that work is scarse as hens teeth. The unemployed have no voice. Who pays for all the phone calls or postage while applying for these 40 jobs a month? Or who pays for the petrol (if they can even afford to own a car) or for the public transport tickets - or do these poor sods just pick up their swag and walk from business to business, town to town to fulfill these imbesilic, draconian new rules?? Will we see the return of the unemployed walking the roads of Australia like they did in the depression!! These mongrels in government have never had to dirty their fingernails or raise a sweat yet here they are, sticking the knife in people already struggling just to survive! Work for the dole equals cheap labour - we need our unions to stand up and fight this! It makes me ashamed that I went to war for this country! Signed Richard Frederick Hardcastle.
