I know I needed to read this today...perhaps some of you do too..pretty powerful and something Ill bet may resonate with a lot of folks here! This is a must read for those that have pre misconceptions of what MLM businesses are. Take the time to read!!! It blows my mind when I hear someone tear apart the idea of relationship marketing, criticizing it and often stealing the dreams of many budding entrepreneurs who could be great, but are so concerned with others often uneducated opinions that they never allow themselves to grow and reach their true limitless abilities. That doubt that those dream stealers are planting in your head will limit you! And it can kill your dreams! And you may find yourself down the road, looking back in regret at what might have been. Let me share something with you: our economy stinks, and even though jobs are necessary to pay the bills, entrepreneurialism is what allows you to control your future. Working for yourself, and on yourself, especially on a part-time business while you work your job, is SMART! If anyone tells you otherwise, with all due respect, they dont know what they are talking about. They may sound like they do, but it is foolish not to look at ways and pursue legal ways where you can control your income, your destiny, and your lifestyle. And often because the dream stealers say their ignorant, negative comments with a confident voice, we tend to believe them, because they are part of the masses and we dont want to look bad or face ridicule for making a wrong decision. It makes sense to be cautious especially with some of the bad companies that have come and gone and left behind a residual negative stereotype of this industry. But when the criticism comes and steals your dreams without that person even looking at the information objectively, then it is nothing less than an ignorant opinion. Are you going to allow that opinion to dictate your future? Will that negative person pay your bills for you down the road? I have been in this industry for twenty years, and I have seen the good and the bad. I have seen some of the companies that create this negative stereotype: the companies offering some amazing opportunity but are out of business a year later. I have been burned, and yet I knew the industry is the smartest place to be, because anyone can do it, and average people can become extraordinary and lead extraordinary lives! I have been fortunate that for the past eleven years, I experienced the great side of this industry, not having to answer to a boss, and great income and lifestyle. There were many ups and downs, as with life, but the ups far outweigh the downs. Now, with Nerium, it is like I am in Utopia. Its a pyramid, You got suckered into one of those things?, Let me know when you get rich! are just a few of the comments that can start sending you back to a life where you may feel unfulfilled. And when you get shot down by close friends or family, it plants self-doubt in your head, and if you dont get immediate results in the business, then you start to believe that what the dream stealers said was true. Unfortunately, most people then quit showing up, quit getting on the calls, and eventually they quit the business and disappear, when inevitably, if they had continued and not given up, they would have made it! DONT LET THIS BE YOU! Only 5% of people will retire without needing any form of assistance later on. 5 out of 100. That means 95 either will need some help or they wont live to retirement. If we know the masses are not going to be where we want, then why are we listening to them? In this company, and in this industry for the most part, you will find people who encourage you to be great, who will become your family, who will pick you up when you fall, and who will believe in you when you lost belief in yourself, people who will hug you when you cry, and lift you on their shoulders when you succeed, who will encourage you and bring out the greatness within you: people who have an optimistic view of life and are just plain happy. Why would anyone NOT want to be in this industry, especially here in Nerium? It is the biggest secret to happiness that I have found: to be around associations that allow us to thrive and be ourselves, with big dreams and plans on how to get there. We have the light at the end of the tunnel that everyone is looking for! I encourage you to dream big. You dont need to know anything to be successful. Just let your passion show, get people curious to hear why you are excited, let them know it may or may not be for them, and then get yourself out of the way. We have our hands on the greatest opportunity in the hottest industry that is exploding at a time when the rest of the economy struggles. Dont worry about making mistakes. We all make them. Just learn from them, move on and be happy no matter what! Your future is in your control! YOU MADE A GREAT CHOICE! Dont question it! And never let anyone steal your dreams!
