This week (2-8 June) the leadership of CMI and several other Christians will be going to Sweden Rock Festival which is one of Europes Biggest Metal Festivals with ca 33 000 metalheads gathered. We will go there and bring many Metal Bibles and Metal Prayer books with us that will be given away for free for anyone that is interested. However, we will not just hand them out to anyone, but instead we put up signs with the text Feel free to take a Metal Bible. Then all interested will come and pick up a copy of the Metal Bible/Metal Prayer book and take it with them home. So its always their initiative. If anyone wants prayer or just to talk we gladly assist with that as well. We will just be there available to people and show them God’s love. Pray that God will bless this outreach and that many will take the metal bibles/metal prayer books and through them find Christ. Pray that the metal bibles will break down misconceptions and help many to realize what real Christianity is all about. Pray that Gods Spirit will touch people and give them opened minds so they can receive the message of Christ. Pray that God will draw people that are open for Jesus to the metal bible booths and put the right words in our mouths. Besides the metal bible outreach, plenty of christian metal cds, dvds, t-shirts, crosses, jewellry etc will also be sold at a booth on the festival. Play that God will ministers through these things and use them to lead many to Christ and to expand the kingdom of God. By going out to Sweden Rock we are definately on the frontline and therefore we really need your prayer support! We know very well that our enemy Satan is not happy that we are there. Pray therefore in the mighty name of JESUS (Philippians 2:9-11) that God will protect us with the blood of Jesus, the cars we travel with and everything we have from all evil, thefts, accidents etc. Pray also that no weapon/curse formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Pray that God will clearly show everyone on the festival that He has the Power and that He is the One that truly rules. Pray that God will give us wisdom to say and do the right things, so the love of Jesus really can shine through us. Pray that God will send angels to guard and watch over us and everything we have. Pray that God will use us there and give us the right words to say use us as tools to manifest His glory and His wonderful kingdom. Pray that we will meet many people there that are open for Jesus and that we will be good, wise ambassadors of Christ Jesus. Pray that God will use us to be lights in the darkness and that this outreach will be everything God wants it to be and that God will be glorified through it. This year we also have some new fresh ideas and will do the outreach in a bit different way. Pray that God will give us wisdom and that we will see a breakthrough where the spiritual gifts will be put into action and that we will see signs and wonders and see GOD work heavily on Sweden Rock this year! We don’t want to glorify us but we want God to be exalted through this outreach. That is what it is all about. Pray that the outreach will be everything God wants it to be. The festival takes place 4-7 June but we will start the outreach already on June the 2th and continue on to the 8th of June, so we need you backing us in prayer between 2-8 June.
