This week, 4 supermarkets in Holland have made press releases stating that they will no longer sell horse meat that originated from our horses in the Americas. This is the absolute best scenario for our cause, and it provides us with much needed leverage for our arguments: 1. The FDA declared our horses companion animals, which means they receive medications that are unsafe for consumption by other species 2. Horse slaughter in Canada and Mexico is profoundly cruel and torturous 3. The rest of the world recognizes these facts, but our Congress is in the pockets of Big Ag Lets make sure that Congressman Meeks and his constituents are AWARE of these indisputable facts!!
