This week I have purchased 12 necklace chains ( 1mm snakes, 2mm snakes and 1mm links from a well known site. They have been from different sellers who all advertise them as sterling silver and when some were emailed to ask if their chains were definately sterling silver they have assured me they were the genuine deal. All of these people had pretty good feedback, some had no bad feedback at all. These chains ranged from £3.20 with postage up to £6.99I have now tested all the chains with caratest which is an acid ( you may have seen the film I posted a little while ago showing a test being done). Out of the 12 chains only 1 tested positive as sterling silver but I have to say it was nearly as thin as a hair. So all you good people be aware of those sharks out there, goodnight all sleep well.
