This week I previewed properties that did not have washer and dryer connections and thought it was tragic (and the property was over priced *SMH*). The next day I took a friend to dinner who is out of work, has been for some time and he had to borrow $7 in quarters to do his laundry. The following day (last night) I met a man who is trying to pull his life together, every thing he owned he was carrying in a gym bag and he was wearing dirty (filthy) clothes. Every Sunday I dread and put off doing my laundry all day until the last minute. I have to separate it, carry it down the hall about 10 feet inside the comfort of my own home, and use the washer and dryer (that is paid for, no monthly installment for this boy); also using the detergent and electricity that I can easily afford. The point here is I need to pull my head out of my ass and start to really count the abundance of blessings I have in my life. Certainly far more than I deserve. I humbly give thanks to a higher power for showing me such grace, and daily I pray and meditate that I can be of service to others. I love you all.
