This week Ive started my battle versus the housing association which owns the flat where I live. Since I moved in here theres been a massive problem with the lift, because it brakes down every two weeks or so, and for me its getting very nerve wracking, it causes me anxiety and much more. After several times I told them to fix it properly, I still am in the same situation as I was two years ago, nothing has changed and the answer I always receive from them is there is nothing we can do about it. But every time this happen Im stuck in my flat and this time it hasnt been working since last Saturday, which I think its atrocious. They are taking away my #freedom. I had to miss school, gym, I cannot go to the supermarket and so on. I know that if its broken there is nothing they can do right now, but after two years, theyve had plenty of time to fix it properly or replace it with a new one. Dont rent a house to a #disabled when you cannot assure them that they can get in and out whenever they want to! I just needed to share my #frustration. I also think that they dont take me seriously becasue Im #notdisabledenough. so they take it for granted that becasue I still walk, indoor, Im fine, but I cannot go out without my #wheelchair. I have a form of #disability nobody understands. Anyway, fingers crossed for next week!!!
