This week Washington and Lee University took down the Confederate flag that hung in the chapel and has been moved to the on campus museum. Good there is no room for flying confederate flags the ultimate symbol of the pro slavery movement on our country that divided our nation and dragged it to war. This university along with William and Mary and Brown all had slaves at one point. It is a sad reminder of our history. Those flags do not represent honor and dignity but hate, racism and dishonor. There is no room in our society for that.
