This week a Bernalillo County jury handed down a guilty verdict in a 2010 murder case. William Pagan-Rivera was convicted of Second Degree Murder, Felony Murder, Kidnapping, Attempted Armed Robbery, 2 counts of Child Abuse, Aggravated Assault, Shooting from a Motor Vehicle, Shooting at a Dwelling and Negligent use of a Firearm. Pagan-Rivera went to a NE Albuquerque home in 2010, where an altercation ensued. The victim, Dwayne Johnson, was shot in the abdomen and later died at the hospital. Pagan-Rivera faces a minimum of 30 years behind bars. Hell be sentenced this summer.
